Ofwat Discovery Finalist Award (July 2023)

Mounce Hydrosmart Ltd in association with the University of Sheffield are excited to have been named as one of 20 finalists sharing in £1million to demonstrate bold solutions to some of the water sector’s biggest challenges (through the #WaterDiscoveryChallenge). Finalists receive financial and non-financial support to further the development of their solutions. The ACQUIRE Project will initially analyse drinking water quality incident report data from water companies using the latest AI techniques (including Generative AI and Large Language Models) to develop an interactive management tool and online open source portal benefitting the industry and its customers.
